SCHOLLE WINS SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD

02/12/2004 | Scholle Container North America was recently presented with the Supplier Excellence Award from the International Dairy Foods Association and the Ice Cream Mix Association. The nomination came from Country Fresh Dairy, Livonia, MI.

The award was presented to Paul Dean, Commercial Director for Container North America’s foodservice business, by Rick Beaman, COO of Dean Foods’ Dairy Group. (Country Fresh is a division of Dean, largest dairy company in the United States.) The ceremony was held during the Worldwide Food Expo at McCormick Place in October. Scholle celebrated the occasion with champagne.

This year, Scholle successfully modified and installed a FF9010 Fogg Rotary High-Volume Ten-Head Filler to put soft-serve ice-cream mix in Scholle bags.

The nomination submitted by Country Fresh stated, “We chose to partner with Scholle because their bags were better, more reliable, and they have excellent customer and technical service. We knew we'd be getting the best quality and the latest technology.
