Scholle & SAS Partner For Lubricants Co-Packing Success
South Atlantic Services is a contract manufacturing and contract packaging firm. The company was approached with the concept to package lubricants into bag-in-box. Accordingly, SAS was introduced to Scholle Packaging to establish a packaging line in order to bring this innovative method of packaging to a brand new market.
To do so, SAS bought–and now operates–three of Scholle’s fillers. SAS brought these fillers into their 100,000 square foot production facility, which they designed specifically for the bag-in-box venture. SAS, because of their partnership with Scholle, now packages bag-in-box lubricants for the world’s major oil companies. SAS also now packages a greater variety of products for a larger number of clients with Scholle’s help.
