Scholle Packaging is proud to announce its partnership on an innovative new way to flexibly package beer in an environmentally-friendly, disposable container.

The KeyKeg® is designed according the bag-in-ball principle. The high-quality, pressurized PET ball houses a specially-developed flexible inner bag, provided by Scholle Packaging, which contains the beverage. The content is dispensed by pressurizing the space between the bag and the ball with air rather than costly CO2.

The ball itself has been designed to withstand the anticipated internal pressures, as well as abusive handling throughout the supply chain. This unique concept is accompanied by a completely new system for filling, logistics and dispensing. The KeyKeg is an easy-to-handle, lightweight and environmentally-friendly disposable package offering opportunities to penetrate new markets and reduce costs while increasing sales.
