Raw Materials Scholle's bag-in-box packaging uses less raw materials when compared to rigid packaging formats. For every 12 grams of plastic in rigid packaging, only 1 gram is required in flexible packaging!
Fossil Fuels Nine truckloads of rigid packaging (cans, HDPE, glass) is equivalent to only one truckload of flexible packaging! Because of this efficiency, the heavy cost of fuel is reduced.
Space Scholle Packaging's products ship and store flat, efficiently utilizing valuable transport and warehouse space. 2,000 unfilled bags can be placed on a pallet, compared to only 72 unfilled jugs per pallet.
