Bag-in-box wine has long been successful in Australia and European countries like Sweden. The United States and parts of South America are rapidly adopting this new retail package as an environmentally-conscious alternative to glass bottles.
Earlier this year, Scholle Packaging unveiled a new website dedicated entirely to box, or cask, wine: About Boxed Wine. This website provides insight and resources for all levels of involvement in the wine industry; wine makers, distributors, retail sellers and wine drinkers.
Over time, the site has been populated with some of the best-known box wine from around the globe. Visitors can read reviews of these wines and even rate and review them. There are also boxed-wine related blogs and video content written with the wine lover in mind. New content and wines are being added all the time, so be sure to check in regularly or leave a comment with some suggestions for the site.
